Zij die mij kennen, weten ongetwijfeld dat ik iets heb met trail running en ook met de Genkse mijnregio. Mijn grootvader is vanuit het mooie Dolceacqua naar deze streek afgezakt om er in de mijn te komen werken. Deze streek heeft dus een speciale plaats in mijn hart en dat het de perfecte plek was voor een trail run shoot, maakte het nog beter!

Voor onze gravel video ‘Frontiers and beyond’ gingen wij de Tilta Hydra Alien car mounting kit testen op de kasseien van het bos van Wallers-Arenberg, de meest gevreesde kasseistrook uit Parijs-Roubaix. En omdat auto’s en moto’s niet toegestaan zijn op deze strook, monteerden we de camera op het bagagerek van onze Specialized Como e-bike.
